My Story

I am seasoned User Experience & User Interface Designer skilled at sketching, wireframing, UI design and bringing ideas to life through prototyping. I love graphic design and working with stakeholders to solve user problems. I get excited about technology and how consumers interact with it. In my next role I want to join and lead a design team to build innovative user-centric products.

I’m also an avid runner, marathoner and duathloner. My goal is to do a marathon in all 50 states. I still got a long way to go.

My Skills & Expertise

UI Design

I have many years of experience creating colorful and award winning designs. I have a great understanding of layout, color, typography, icons, images and design theory.

User Research

I have experience doing end to end user research projects, including creating the plan, recruiting participants, writing the guides, conducting interviews, and presenting findings.

Wireframing

Wireframe is a blueprint for each screen of an interface. Its main purpose is to show how something works, not how it looks. Wireframing defines the elements that need to be present from page to page.

Product Design

I have a passionate curiosity to explore new stuff and unveil trends. Solving problems is a great passions of mine.

Senior UI/UX Designer

DiSTI

DiSTI is the leading provider of both turn-key and customized HMI software and 3D virtual maintenance training solutions. My role as the leader of the UI/UX department was to improve the user experience for their two main products GL Studio and VE Studio. I brought a new UI and listened to our users on how to improve the UX of both applications. I also worked with the US Army and companies like Siemens, Volvo and Hyundai to enhance user experience on projects they brought to the company.

5/2018 - 3/2019

Senior UI/UX Web Designer

Atkins

Working in Atkins' technology division I brought a new UI/UX prospective to a new FEMA application we where building for them. I also helped clients build several SharePoint sites and instructed them on what the best user experience would be for users. Working with the FDOT District 5 and the University of Central Florida to build a new mobile application to help student improve their commutes to/from and around campus.

4/2017 - 5/2018

Senior UI/UX Web Designer

Epic Engineering & Consulting Group, LLC

As a consultant I worked with the Florida Turnpike Enterprise to build several new website for their automated vehicle technology program. They want to showcase what achievements the turnpike is doing in leading the autonomous vehicular sector. I also began the process of building their new intranet site in SharePoint. I conducted several usability test to see what people wanted in a new intranet and what content needed to say or go. Also built the developers a new responsive application code shell that could be used and themed for any new turnpike application they see fit.

12/2015 - 3/2017

Design Supervisor

Abila

Lead a team of 4 designers who each worked on an Abila product to improve the user experience. I was in charge of the netFORUM Pro product. I lead the UI redesign and improve the UX workflow by take 12 steps down to 4 in the event registration module. Also built the application's design system and worked with the product owner to create the roadmap for future releases.

GL Studio

USER RESEARCH | PRODUCT DESIGN STRATEGY | UI/UX DESIGNER

The GL Studio GUI design tool delivers high-fidelity, feature-rich 2D and 3D user interfaces regardless of product domain or industry.

My Role: To improve the overall user experience by creating a new UI and see what pain points our users are having with the application.

netFORUM Pro Events Module

USER RESEARCH | PRODUCT DESIGN STRATEGY | UI/UX DESIGNER

netFORUM Pro SaaS software provides a complete set of membership management features for associations.

My Role: To collaborate with the product owner to design a new workflow to allow users to easily complete the process and to update the UI for the product.

Travel Kiosks and Mobile App

USER RESEARCH | UX DESIGNER

Research and gather information for the FDOT to write an ITN document to build the transit kiosks software and enhance the University of Central Florida mobile application.

My Role: To conduct research and present data to use in the ITN document.
